Fox Brake pedal too stiff

I trimmed the studs down on my 93 cobra booster. Forget how much I cut off but definitely made it easier to slip it in. Really the two on the inside of the engine bay are the only ones that need some slight trimming

Holy crap this install is genuinely so annoying. Trimmed the studs, slotted the holes, and beat the strut tower and it still won't go. My main problem right now is that I don't have enough space to swing the hammer so I'm gonna try and find a big drift to see if that will help me push the strut tower a little more.

Yeah I was hoping that since my car is a 93 it wouldn't be too hard but it's kicking my butt. It is a factory 2.3L chassis which I'm pretty confident has zero influence on what I'm trying to do but maybe it does?

It's just been a lot of back and forth since I want to do as little as I can when clearancing the holes and the strut tower.

Sand-filled mallet on the booster to tap it in maybe? I didn't touch my tower at all when I installed it into my '88. 1990+ are the easiest install, but pre-90 is still doable without resorting to drastic measures.
Way back when I did mine, there was a weird bump in the tower about the size of a nickel that l had to hit a few times in order to get the booster past.
