I will add to this a bit also from experience.If you do S/N rear axles and plan to drag race you will need the correct back spaceing in drag wheels. I bought a pair of drag lites that had the fox offset and they would hit the fenders in the rear since the 94/95 is wider.And if i were you DONT USE lincoln or SVO rear brakes espically if you plan to use fox lenth axles!My car has 03 cobra fronts and 95 cobra rear disc brakes with fox lenth axles,my 17x8 99 cobra wheels look perfect for the front but the rears are sunk in to much.When i had the S/N rear axles it looked perfect!Also keep in mind if you plan to run 15" front runners to drag race you will need 1" spacers in the front to clear the 03 cobra brakes.I just bought hardened fox axles,rear slotted dimpled cobra rotors,rear cobra calipers,front 03 cobra slotted dimpled rotors,conversion brackets for use with fox axles.All together it was about $800 peace

And take a look on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for those spindles. I've bought probably 10 sets on there and resold them on ebay for a profit. Many of the places will ship too, so no need to only look locally.

Any thoughts about non-Ford wheels? I don't see any with 30mm but most are in the 27mm range. Is this enough to make a difference? I had a Contour for a daily driver back in the day and I bought TSW wheels and had nothing but trouble with them. First they came without the correct mounting rings, then when I got that sorted it took an act of God to balance the things. I had to bring it to 4 different places before I found someone who was able to get them close but never perfect. Needless to say I'm a little gun shy of wheels without a Ford stamp.

newtakeoff.com has a set of Bullitt wheels for 2005 - 2009 in 17 x 8. No offset listed. Will these work? I'm having a hell of a time finding pre 2005 Bullitts in good shape. Do these things come with curb rash or what??

You will need spacers to use them and look decent. They have more like a FWD offset and backspacing. I've seen them on some 94-04 cars, and they look like they are all sucked in. The only Fox they look decent on is the SVO and Saleens which came with a 2-1/2" wider track than the rest of the Fox cars since it used the wider Mark VII axles and brake setup.

The 05+ 17x8 have +45 offset. The sn95 are +30

That means out back, the rears would pull in 15mm or about 1/2 an inch. This would work fine out back as it would be 1/4 wider than stock fox offset.

Up front, you might find the wheel hitting the control arms. Guys typically run 10-15mm spacers up front and maybe a 5-10 out back to push them out slightly.

I have seen them on fox mustangs...they work. The tire size is incorrect though as they come with 235/55/17 which is too tall for a fox.

I understand how tough it is to find nice oem 01-04 bullitt wheels. I have three of them and can't find a
4th. So for now I have three of the 03-04 versions sitting. Be aware the colors are different between 01-02 bullets and 03-04 bullets. The 03-04 have the darker spokes of the aftermarket wheels. The 05 up wheels have the same color as the 03/04 as well as the silver color you linked.

A couple years ago, when ford sold the 03/04 bullitt new...I bought two to replace two curbed wheels on my 03 gt. Ford closed them out at 100 each! I wished I had bought 4 for my fox. Anyway, I only got around to replacing one on my 03 gt before trading it in. So I still have a brand NIB 03/04 bullitt oem wheel never opened. If I used it I would have my 4th wheel, but part of me wants to save it. I am actually using one of the bulllitt wheels as my full size spare since I don't have a cobra space saver yet.

I am gonna run these anyway....picked up a low mileage no curb set for 400.

I don't know if it's been noted yet, but 94-95 spindles keep the stock Fox track, 96+ spindles push the wheels out wider, and may require longer tie rods to get the alignment right. FYI.

Yes, 94/95'do push out more than stock, the 96+ push out 8mm more than the 94/95.


I def notice my front wheels out wider with the 94/95 spindles vs when I had svo rotors up there.
