Buying throttle body - what all do I need?

I dont know about Colemanitis, but Im going with a 65mm!! Does Summitt carry them??
I'll probably shop around for a nice used one to save some money. My stock TB needs to come off to fix an exhaust leak (worn out gasket), so I figured while it's off I would upgrade it. I don't want to spend too much money on the TB 'cause I need headers bad.

What kind of Headers r u going with Bro ?

ok....Its 260 from Thunderbolt...220 was just the TB..Sorry. My mistake.
I got my TB and spacer off EBAY from them. I got it for 189.00...I got lucky I guess..I alos got the Accufab AFPR. All very nice...

I went from a 65mm Accufab to a 75mm Accufab to better match my AFM powerpipe. I didn't notice any loss in torque, or power. For a 65mm the motorsport is a good choice, but the only brand I even consider besides that is Accufab. I've heard of the edelbrock/bbk whistling, losing thier screws into the motor, and sticking. I'd rather pay a few more bucks for a quality piece than deal with that. I had a minor problem with the threads being stripped on my 75mm, and accufab had another one out in a few days to me, and their customer service was excellent. :nice:

The FMS is the only one that includes that. And they are not cheap either, I had to replace both on my stang, so that is a good deal.
On a stock motor it isn't worth much at all. The MAF is 58mm, so that is the restriction. Buying a 73mm C&L for $125 or a proM will definately add a few more hp. :nice: The key to all the power is replacing or porting the heads though. I wouldn't even bother with a TB or intake, unless you planned on doing something with the heads. Either that or a power adder. A buddy of mine just ran 119mph in the 1/4 with a turbo at 10psi on a stock motor with 190,000 miles on it.
