can u run screwed rims on the street?

i may be buying a set of draglites and the rears have the holes so u can screw down a slick. if i just put a screw to plug the hole would it work good for a radial tire and not leak?

It should, as long a you don't puncture the inner carcass.

You shouldnt need to run scews or seal them or anything. I ran drilled draglites for about a year and they worked fine for me and never lost any air.

i bought the rims, perfect conition and the skinnies have new tires all for 400$, i will have to get some decent street tire for the rears. i will prolly just leave the holes i woul weld them but i dont feel like getting them very hot an crap. i will just put some nice chrome machined allen head screws inside, should give it a unique racey look like i have street tires screwed in lol. plus someday i could use them for some nice wrinkle wall slicks when/if i ever need them.
