Are you comparing a stock 4 cat pipe? i wanna know this too. I have an o/r pipe and a catco 2 cat h pipe. This is the last year my car is required to be tested so I may sell the catco pipe. I don't have a smog pump an going carbed i'm afraid the cats will clog.
If you buy the cats w/o the air tube, they will be no problem. Just dont drive like a 93 old granny or load up the fuel and oil with additives and you wont clog.
LoL... alot people say they can feel the difference when the tank is full and when it is low so I think they will feel the difference. But they will also notice the torque loss. Here is cali we have the sniffer test so with out cats or hollowed cat you run the tune a little leaner to pass. Also my question to you is do you have cats or not? Did you do back to back testing? Unless you did how can you say it runs better with cats?

BB, if you were closer i'd give ya a good deal on the 2 cat one with the air tube, i converted to carb cuz i dropped the motor into an 84, i will be smog exempt next year. i have a crane 2020 cam that shud make tons of low torque. i don't think the 2 cat cost much power, i just don't want to clog it.
