Cobra Year Production question...

Well me and my friend was talking and i asked him how much 00 cobra's are going for.. and he said they didn't make one in 2000...

So i was like what? I thought they made them thru 2000 stopped there and then started making them in 03 with the s/c in them. He said the only Cobra they made was the Cobra R and that was it.

Just wondering if ya'll guys could fill me in. What years were they produced in and what engines did they come with and ratings.

The only United States model year 2000 cobras were the 5.4L Cobra R's. However, there were 4.6L cobras (similar to the 99 & 01 cobras) sold in Australia as model year 2002 cobras.

The 00R goes for $35K-40K depending on condition. Be careful with it. Some of the engine parts are impossible to find today.

you will never get an 00r for that cheap.
most of them are undriven and still want 50 k dont quote me on that though

OK. Since I know the last 6 or 7 sold for less than $50K.

No, alot are O/T now. I only know of a few remaining low mile undriven cars.
