To get this started this is not flaming Cobras. I respect them, although there seems to have been a challenge made over at rx7club.com in the kills section FD R1 v.s. 2004 mustang cobra.

This is a quote from a member respecttheseven. We have called b.s. on his kill and car. We have tried to tell him, that with his mods it is not possible. So if anyone here wants to hand him his A$$ at the track, feel free to teach him not to fling the dung so rampidly. Please, if you sign in over there do not turn it in to a flame war about cars or people. If anyone does take the challenge post the results. Thanks

I have a 2003v cobra and my buddy raced him and lost by half a cars length, if u race him DO NOT BET unless your very confident, tis all in the gear changes - double clutching master!! : 0[ I dunno what he has in that car but I couldn't believe my friend lost.

my buddy went for a ride after ,and he said it had some gear changes done in the high gears...

With his mods listed there is no way he is running 19psi on stock ic, also claimes he runs 10.3 in the 1/4

well, maybe he shouldn't be pushing that much boost, but he is. I went by his shop he is actually a real cool guy. He said he is getting a kick out of all the buzz he is getting... His car pushes 19 lbs of boost. i told him about how the post was now on stangnet and he laughed to himself. and then i said well they say u can't be pushing 19 lbs of boost on a stock ic. so he showed me his ic and then took me for a ride. umm yeah, he is. maybe just go onto the forum and be polite to him, see what he will tell u, he is a ligit guy who knows his ****. his car is hella fast and he showed me the slips to prove it. he did say that his run on the quarter was crazy, and he though it might be because of the inversion we have been having here i utah. lost of pollution. but that hey if u guys are soo sure that he ins't, then call him on it. go on out to utah, but think first.but i will tell u this, he is ligit.
