Comp. ratio for a 347 w/ Kenne Bell

What kind of compression ratio would best benefit a 347 with a kenne bell blower? We're talking Boss block-based project here...no stock block; mild boost (no more than 10 lbs max) - pump gas and streetable stroker/blower 347 combo. Ideas? I'm dreaming again and wishing for more torque in my SN95...

Im sorry to hijack but would a 331 with flat top CHP pistons and 61cc AFR 185's live under very low boost with a procharger (6lbs.)??? I really just want a slight bump in power and the WHISTLE I know I know I should have bought dished pistons but I didn't think of it till recently, and it will be custom tuned for sure.

6 lbs isnt much, but isnt a "slight bump" neither..lol:nice:

juiced, what is your compression ratio?

i am thinking about parchisi, who put a some low boost on his 408 that had 11:1 compression and he broke a piston.

feel like breaking a piston? i'd stay away from boost unless your compression ratio is under 9.5:1

If you decide you want to do it just be really conservative with a higher compression ratio. I was only hitting about 8 lb of boost with my procharger.

And also I'm at 10:1, but its still on the high side.
