Hello my buddy has a 99gt, im asking for him cause i dont feel like signing off, well his car isnt the fastest car around, he has most of the basic bolt ons, 3.55 gears, cai, t/b, o/rx, flowmasters, mgw shifter, 315's in the rear, and hes running 14.5's, and he gets ****ty gas mileage. We heard there was a problem with the computers, is this true? could this be why his times are so bad and gas mileage? is there any way to fix it? or does he just suck at driving cause the 60' time is 2.0 and the mph is up there but et's are just ****ty, thanks

could you please go into details about this sensor...and btw it was 14.3's not 14.5's but none the less still horrible

the bad gas mileage makes me think that it may be a oxygen sensor giving a bad signal. if your trap speed is good, but your e.t. is bad, the problem is your shifting, not the car itself.

14.3 is powershifting jake, wasent your mph like 97 or 98? and 60'' times were like 2.0-2.2? From what we've seen teh car should be like high 13's, could shifting bad effect the car that much? and its not even bad shifting, like i said 14.3 was powershifting

hot humid air is most likely.Next is driving. No flame, I ran the same numbers in SC heat. After many runs the numbers came down into the 13s. I don't know about the fuel mileage. Try resetting the computer. Suspension and practice =lower ETs with his combo. I have run 14.0 at 102mph and 13.6 at 96mph. Heat will lower your MPH.
