Whelp... went down the Auto Tempest rabbit hole again:

Pretty clean car out in the desert, got a V8 too!

Um... can I borrow $6000? PLEASE???

No idea what they're saying... but dat interior doe...

Decent looking V8/4spd project.

Nice v6 one-owner car.

Listed as a parts car with no title, but if you live in one of the states that doesn't care... might make a project.

It's a sleeper, and kind of an odd one, stock manifolds on aluminum heads with a nitrous system?

It's in Alameda, it's where they keep the nuclear wessels.

It's got rot in the quarters and doesn't mention which engine it has, but it's nice overall... The wire wheels look good on a Ghia.

Someone went to a lot of trouble to make this look like a factory V8 car...

I'm in love.

Typical vinyl top Ghia with the typical vinyl top Ghia rust.

I used to have a V8 Ghia that color!

$12k for a V6 Cobra? They must've been talking to Potamus.

Weird ad, I dig the blue interior.

If it had A/C, it'd be the nicest Ghia on the planet.

Wow! Its a plethora of Mutt2s.
Pick a card, any card.

Fresh looking paint on the "Charleys Angels Edition?" didn't know that was a edition.

The Ghia at the end is really sweet too.

Thinking Fangzz might be the winner, looks super nice

Thanks 74Stang2go, These are fun to see.

Charlies Angels edition is so nice. Love those cars even more than the fox. $6000.00 for Charlies white and blue. If I was a rich collector I would want that one. Looks great in a garage
Pete, there was no official Charlie's Angels edition. In fact two different Angels drove two different Mustang IIs. Farah drove a white Cobra II with blue stripes, and Jaclyn Smith drove a tan Ghia. Us II guys have been referring to that ad tongue-in-cheek because of the way the seller wrote it up.

Back then that must have sold lots of those cars. They look like Pintos , How much is Pinto parts. I know they rusted out like Pintos . My father had three Pintos in a row. He never did any maininance just drove them into the ground. I always liked the pinto body. Basic but very cool curves and nice bucket seats. My neighbor has the one pictured. Its cool with a parachute and LS engine. Side exhaust and seventys paint job

It's overpriced, it's a 2.3L car for crying out loud.

However, it is very cool, and considering the vast majority of Cobra II buyers went for the 302, very rare.
It is overpriced , but you Mustang 2 guys have to love the price increase. Sure beats $5,000. That car was really nice. And the bottom l;ooked untouched

If they're worth it, the price increases don't hurt my feelings at all. I have my Cobra (which is a clone like that one....) insured for $10k and this example can help justify that.

Well... I did it again:

https://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/d/colorado-springs-1977-cobra-mustang/7110459485.html Nice Cobra that needs a quarter panel, but comes with a lot of extra parts. If it's mechanically sound it should still be a great starting point in spite of the body damage.

https://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/cto/d/chicago-ford-mustang-1977/7104093886.html Clean, possibly a bit overpriced, but it is a V8 car with the factory A/C intact, though likely not operational given the lack of a belt on the compressor. That interior though... I've changed my mind, it's not overpriced if it's rust-free.

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/minneapolis-1976-ford-mustang-ll/7104742128.html I'm not sure what they're trying to say in the ad, and those speakers in the doors are atrocious, but those houndstooth cloth seats are sexy.

https://eauclaire.craigslist.org/cto/d/mondovi-1977-mustang-cobra-2/7099445362.html Bruh, you're gonna need more than those tiny pics to make me want to look at a your car, even if it is a Cobra II... especially at $8500.

https://grandrapids.craigslist.org/cto/d/portland-mustang/7101257364.html I'm laughing my ass off... a "driver" with a tunnel ram and dual quads through the hood? Good news is, if you don't decide to save it, it's priced cheap enough to part out for a profit!

https://greatfalls.craigslist.org/cto/d/pony-1974-mustang-pro-street/7110789274.html Oh dear God... those headers on that 351C are NOICE! I mean, there's no logical reason in the world to swap a 351C into one of these cars, but if you're gonna do it... well... this guy... he done good.

https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/rescue-1976-mustang-ii-v8-302ci-rare/7103465504.html Someone needs to buy this before they realize that they're selling it for about half price if it's as good as it looks in the pics. I mean, it's rough, but it's a solid V8 Ghia for pocket change.
