Disappointing race results

"Stock for stock my car weighed OVER 3560 versus my cousin's 94 GT leather/full power equipped 5 speed coupe which tipped the scales at 3350lbs. Also, I ran a 15.2 at 90mph stock and he ran a 14.8 at 93mph stock at the same track under like circumstances. There is a bigger difference there than most people think. "

I remember you saying you got a 15.1 out of your car on another post. Also, I forgot if you have an auto or not. Auto's add weight in addition to the vert option of course.

1994 Mustang GT edmunds auto guide: Curb Weight: 3276 lbs
1994 Mustang GT Vert: Curb Weight: 3452 lbs

I don't know why there is a difference. Maybe they weighed them dry or something but it should be around 2tenths. But then again there are other factors I guess like twisting or something. Still doesn't explain his crappy ti,e. I hope you get it worked out. I think you should be in the 13's.

I have a 5 speed and I can assure you that I have never said I ran a 15.1 stock... I think I have written I have run a 15.2 at 90mph stock over 50 times at least on this board alone! LOL! There was 4 tenths and >3mph difference between my car and my cousins at the same track under like conditions.

On a side note:
Onebad95 ran 12.9 at 105mph with AFR heads, e-brock intake, FTI cam and a slightly higher stall converter in his AODE convertible.
