Tivo recorded like 5 episodes the other day. I started watching the one on project Nightmare. For the most part.

That car I must say looked badass. Ive never seen a shaker hood on an sn95 before but it looked kinda cool. I definately would never buy one even if I had endless ammounts of cash. But it still fit the car.

I got my vert a few days before I saw the first episode on that car and seing it again makes me wanna keep the vert. Its funny to see when they repainted that car(the 96 gt vert if anyone has no idea what im talking about) they didn't tape off the fender wells so half of the rock sheild thingys inside the fenders are gloss black and the rest is dirt.

I just wanted to admire the car.

And I guess for a somewhat tech question, how much have they dumped into the thing.(Not including labor)

Blower, brakes, 2 different tonnoe covers, 2 sets or expensive wheels, full exhaust....

Sounds like too much money and they havent reached 300rwhp yet.

The seat covers were like $1K. I remember because I wanted to redo mine.

I think the lowest price was like $800. Check out they're website. It has a link
to the place where they bought the sear covers.

Yes, He had to strip the leather off the foam.

I Tivo every episode along with Trucks. Two Guys Garage is doing a 1996 Mustang series which started last night (Tivo those too). They put HP's Mega Bite suspension package on last night (control arms, struts, shocks, panhard bar, sub frames, caster/camber plates). The car was a V-6 but swapped out a carbed 351W motor. Then they hit the 1/8 mile track. Next week they are putting on a bigger carb and changing the exhaust with dyno tuning.

hi
for what its worth and just my opinion, HORSEPOWER TV SUCKS 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' . Its got to be one of the worst shows on cars out there, the pre written script with stupid jokes just dosent cut it! Im a car guy like everyone else I want to see real builds, real cars. Not lets get a nova which was in excellent condition one that people would kill for and chop it up, tub it, throw a $20000 572ci into it. $5000worth of wheels and brakes. THey throw money at cars like it grows on trees, and what are they hoping for only 10s pure stupidity.
Anyone remember the green honda with a if not mistaken $10000 buget for a hundred and some odd horsepower. Fcuken genious'. I want a show where they double the time make it one hour, they can do it especially when they rerun every episode 10 time in a weekend, a show where they get into detail with explantions, how and why it works and money that everyone can afford.
Ive been watching two guys garage back since it was called shadetree mechanic, thats a good show for what its worth, their buget went up since they moved with bigger sponsos but not outrageous. This show should be an hour long and it would rock.

Jester, it's entertainment and that's all. I would rather watch someone wrench on vehicle over all the garbage on TV.

My Company had the Two Guys Garage hosts (Dave and Sam) come in for annual meeting. I sat next to Sam at dinner and chatted with him for over an hour. He's a Ford fan.

Hey Killer, dont be lookin into any new tivo's they got a new one coming out where it can handly more than one tv at a time.

Striped5.0, im pretty sure its a 5 speed but they are only running a whimpy 6 or 7 lbs into it.

HDS, the red one got stolen and stripped. They showed the car after the police found it. Those real nice cobra seats were gone, and the car was stripped bad.

Vib, funny you mention the Two guys garage. One of my buddies called me the other day praising it(the 351 mostly). He wants me to buy my red 97 v6 back from my sister to put a carb 351 in it. LOL

And jester, i dont care for horsepower tv either, but I like laughing at how much they dump into these cars and get poor results. will someone email them and tell them to get some PI heads and stage 2 cams for that 4.6. is sad.

Trucks is the best one out of all of them. I watch them every day I get off my saturday shift at work.

Two Guys Garage is more practical than Horsepower TV. Plus, Sam on Two Guys is way more intelligent and knowledgable than the others. I watch both, but I get no motivation from Horsepower TV (just neat to see some of the goodies, but often too much on wheels and non/low performance stuff). I find that Horsepower TV often does not do nearly enough to their projects, especially considerin the $$$.

I'll take a car show over most anything. If you don't have Speedvision, you're missing out on lots of car stuff. Another good show sometimes is Dream Car Garage which is mostly eye candy.

Car & Driver aired a show a few years ago called "0-150-0" and they had modded Vipers, Steeda/Saleen/Kenny Brown Mustangs, a ZR-1, Benz, and one or two others. The show was an hour long and I got it recorded on VHS. Great show, especially in surround sound. Gotta convert it over to DVD sometime soon, though before it wears out. Too bad they haven't done one since then (1998?). I believe the Steeda came in second place overall and was just awesome, blowing the other stangs away big time.

Any new shows coming soon?
