Normally, anytime body work is mentioned, people dont reply. Been thinking of doing the same to my blazer after the stangs done. Got to say I'm jealous because you have a welder. What color are you going? Good luck.

LOL I have 2 welders and I am going the stock Blue with a darker silver on the bottom...The blue is actually nice when it's not all faded from 14 years. And thanks for the good luck.

Once you get started it's not all that bad. My Dad is there to help me (I'm the welder) with the body work and he know's his stuff since he has been doing this since he was like 18.

Well I got the 2nd coat of primer on it today...need to do some sanding tomorrow and I will shoot some paint (I think I'm gonna go with Gun-Metal Gray) on the botom and within the next day or two I should have the blue painted....Can't wait to see this all done

looks like itll be a good little project (even if its not a ford). i need to start doing the same thing to my f150, the rear wheel wells have been starting to go for a few years, and the cab corners are just now starting to rust away. just need a welder, some cash, and some time (the last being the hardest to come by nowadays)
