I took some of the door and the cab corner's down to bare metal

My Dad sprayin some stone gaurd (I do the dirty work and he does the filler and paint work lol)

and I bought a set of decals's off ebay to replace the Z71 decal's I had to take off. I got them today in the mail they look really nice and they are the exact same size as the old ones. Also no body around here that I know of will have anything like them. I was going to get stock ones from GM but they wanted like $40 a side so $80 for 2 stickers was not going to happen. I paid $19 for both and shipping was free for the ones in the pic

Well it's painted...looks awsome. My Dad's friend who used to own his own Body Shop Asked if he could spray it instead of my Dad. He said "I haven't sprayed a car for about 3 years and I want to so I know I can still do it lol" We were like sure why not you did some nice work before....and we know it will come back to you as soon as you pull that trigger.....and it did. We watered down the booth floor and shut the doors and left him alone for a few hours....he used up the whole gallon and was really happy with the results....Man I was happy he did it.

I saw a couple runs in that gun metal paint, but other than that it looks good. lets see the completed job now!

yes there is 2 runs in the grey....he was fighting cause there was so much metallic in it but it turned out good....the blue looks mint no runs lot's of shine and verry verry little orange peel.

pics will be up in about 5-10 minutes.

well it's just a winter beater lol....I will be a little nicer to it now. I will still go out and play in the snow but not so much in the mud.<---- I say that untill spring time lol

A winter beater with working A/C and a sunroof and the summer car (Stang) has no such thing lol...well it does have a sunroof

Bah, A/C only slows you down. (Though I'm sure it's nice to have in an Ontario summer.)

Thats my Dad in the red shirt and the other guy is his good friend. He is the one who wanted to paint it so we said go right ahead...he's good

Looks good! To bad you live on the other side of the world, my stang needs some work.

So are you planning to wet sand and buff it out or just leave it the way it is?

I might buff it but it is just a winter beater...but it does look good maby I will get a Tempo or something cheap do drive in the winter and keep the truck as nice as I can
