Door is out of alignment, from launching on slicks

All right guys, I just realized this tonight.....My passenger side Door sags a little bit from launching at 5500 rpm on slicks. It doesnt close as well and the dome light will stay on unless I slam the door 4 or 5 times. I installed my Subframes last Thursday before I went the Track (friday) thought the subframes would prevent this......
Anyone had this problem???
What did you do? loosen the door and lift up???

Sucks that it's out of alignment but it's badass at the same time. I wish I could have "battle damage" like that from having a badass Stang. I hope someday I come home with a scratched up right rear bumper because I've been launching so hard and need a wheelie bar

hehe.....I wouldnt mind having that mark either.....I would probly leave it like that.....but I dont want the door to have to be slamed all the time....just looking for some tips from somone who has experienced this.....and if not I could get it my self......

hey Dave, in the morning run your hand across the top right side of the roof, and see if the torque made it buckle. If not, check the right quarter panel (flat hand slowly across the surface) just below the glass. Sounds like something got buckled just a bit. If you want a proper fix, you'll have to go to a body shop and have them put it on a frame rack and pull out the kink. If you just want to do a quick fix; with the top hinge slightly loose, stick a jack under the rear of the door with it slightly open... jack it up just a bit, then tighten the bolts back up. Do this until you get the proper fit. If the car has a slight buckle, your going to have "funny" gaps around your door; not a big deal if it does'nt bother you. Seem's odd the sub-frame connectors didn't stiffen it a bit more ~ I suppose that would depend if you bolted or welded them on; one end of the bolts could have shifted... i dunno... good luck

i was adjusting my top and i noticed that the tigher i made it(so it wouldn't creak) the harder it is to close the passenger door... drivers door is fine

so i would suggest adjusting hinges or getting new ones

sounds like your twisting your frame when your launching like that, definatly bring it to a body shop and have then check it out and get a full cage or something

i cant believe thats from the launches, i havent had any problems with my vert and all i have are the factory subframes

Are you sure the subframes were installed with weight on the wheels? I'm just wondering if you opened the pass. door between having the subframes installed on thursday, and going to the track on friday. If they were installed incorrectly this is the kind of stuff you will see.

That was my thinking too - if you had the subframes installed while it wasn't resting on its tires, this is the type of thing that would happen.

Hey 96vert your car sounds great man. Just wanted to complaiment u on a nice sounding car!!! Sounds a little deepr than my cobra maybe its just cuz its on the computer speakers and not real life tho.

Well I was trying to remember if I had the door while i was welding.....I remember the doors being closed......I dunno, I will try looking for a kink it the body....and if i dont find a kink i will probly just realign the door, and if it happens again i will reinstall my subframes........

How long have you been launching like that pre-subframes. My thinking is that the frame was already kinked a little, but still allowed the doors/body to line up correctly b/c of the fliminess of the structure to begin with. When you put on the subframes, it stiffened the chassis not allowing for any give to take place thus causing the body panels and frame to permanetly be mis-aligned. This is assuming that the subframes got put in the right way. If they did, your best bet is to take them off, go to a shop to get everything re-aligned or unkinked, then re-install the subframes.
