driver side rear squatting

i ahve a 90 gt with only 60k and the driver side rear sits a few inches lower then the passenger side. also when driving sometinmes the driverside rear make s a very low rattling noise, it doesnt sound to harse but is that the shocks??

I have the same problem you are having. I cant figure it out. I have tried lining up the pigtails on the shocks every which way.... i have just delt with the lean. but if your car is lowered and you still have full exhaust that could be the rattleing. My rearend hits the exhaust where it bents to go up and over the rearend. And i need to new shocks so you might wanna check on that.

It's called the Fox body lean, you pretty much just have to deal with it. I have it too, which means it's not due to frame twisting from massive power.

my 88 doesnt have this problem, its more like my driver seat leans from breakage, mainly from "testing" my acceleration abilities daily.

New springs usually don't cure the problem in my experience.

I've noticed this on my car before, but always thought that it was the springs. So there is no real cure for this? What's the cause?

nope.... ive got the same problem too.... some have said the sway bar may be bent, took that off and nothing... tried the pigtails and got the same results.... swapped springs and nothing. Ive just decided to deal with it. As others im sure have said, when people ask about it just tell em that with all the torque your making you need the passenger side to be a bit higher so that it evens out when you get on it!!! j/k maybe somebody will have a solution for us...

Hmmm that's weird- I thought it was my car I have the same problem- I've never heard of that before. I looked at my springs, it looks like my driver side has less coils than my pass side? I thought I just had one cut spring or something??

ummm... i tried the spring spacer thing along with air bags.... all the spacer did was raise up both sides... same result with the air bags.... i think it might come down to just cutting a coil off the passenger side if it bothers you so bad...

Damn! Very disapointing! I havent noticed this on mine and I cringe at the thought of seeing it! I dred the infamous fox body lean! F-bodies do it too!
