Dyno Results... I need 2 more HP!!!

I'm with you Paul ... It would be one of the first things I'd try for just that little bit extra he is looking for.

I have seen from time to time ... taking out a few degrees at around the torque
peak rpm will give a slight gain.

Those little things you can try is what paying for dyno time can be all about if you are trying to extract every bit out of a combo. You just have to try and see what your combo likes and doesn't.

I agree with the act behind the blower being a better setup than in the intake
when talking about forced combos.

Sweet.... glad I wasn't looking at it wrong. I'm in the middle of hooking up my wideband. Still kinda new to this A/F ratio thing. I got by for YEARS of just listening to the engine and adjusting the nitrous according to what I heard and felt. :D

Having information WHILE driving will be nice. :nice:

electric fan and water pump....those together might give you between 15-20HP. don't have to worry about adding any more boost. but please tell me you are not running a stock block? if so, you are on borrowed time my friend. it's all fun and games....til the block splits in half. and you're leaking fluids everywhere.

I guess it hard to believe you noticed a difference between one syntec and another. Not saying its not possible though.

i used royal purple in everything i used then i started using mobile in my truck and thats when i started experiencing lower oil pressue and engine noise.... maybe it was coinsidence but my stangs only use royal purple and they seem to run amazing on them

Great #'s! Very impressive

Is anyone else sick of hearing this? Anyone thats at or around the 500rwhp level KNOWS THIS ALREADY .

And 94/95s have electric fans stock

Well I upgraded my injectors and swapped out my stock clutch and flywheel for a pro motion custom clutch and fidanza aluminum flywheel. After it was tuned on the dyno the final number was 498.42 whp and 496.03 whtq. I am so close to 500 i can taste it. Anyone know how to get another 2 whp and 4 wtq? Here is the graph!

Nice work! I gotta ask... how hard is it to get traction with 3.73s and that big ol' Kenne Bell?:D

Don't go switching around your oil... the only thing you'll get out of it is a lighter wallet. Coupled with an hour+ cool down, a big bag of ice will get you there. Your tuner seems like he knows his stuff.

I love it... first swap synthetic oils (no offense Trav, I didn't know he was running synth already either) and then swap an electric fan for another one? This last one, don't get me started. :D

I think the ice is the safest route... then a timing degree bump. :nice:

I am on a stock short block. And I am well aware of the chances. BTW, I already have an electric fan... it came stock. I guess my car is just special :D
