I hate making a thread like this but I am curious.

With a e-cam, GT40 intake and GT40P heads, 24lbs injectors and MAF, shorties, OR H, and flows. What kind of power could I potential put down? I found a polished gt40 locally I may be able to score for 200$. And I found some heads for cheap as well.

Just need the injectors, headers, and maf.

Just wonder what kind of numbers I could make?

270/300 give or take a few. you should keep the stock injectors and maf for now, you dont need to upgrade them yet.

You don't think I will need 24's with that setup? Must be mild then. Shouldn't that be along the lines of the cobra's power? I know it needed 24's stock.

I may just get the intake for now and possibly get better heads in the future. But if I can a good deal on the gt40p's I may go for them/

I think with elevated fuel pressure ...........
you could get by with the oem fuel system.

I feel very strongly against striving for a lot of power with
that method however.

A decision ... each has to make for themselves.

One last thing to keep in mind .........

Ford or anybody else for that matter, who does not run those
elevated pressures, are not asking the inj to work as hard so
they tend to go with larger sizes.

anyway ... I just can't see the motivation to stretch things
when it comes to the fuel delivery system considering the
damage that can happen from being too lean.

I figure it would be much less of a load on the injectors if I ran 24's. But that is a pretty mild setup so I may not have to. I can get a good deal on some 24's so I may go ahead and get them soon and get a MAF before I get all the parts installed.

I know some guys were recommending 24's with a cam/intake/exhaust setup.

BTW what is a good shortie header to run with GT40p's?
