I have an '02 GT auto. Pretty much all stock except for a Flowmaster exhaust. I am getting set to take it to the track before doing my first round of mods. I tried it out with a G-Timer a few months ago. It mostly ran 15.0 according to the G-Timer. It was hot (probably 90+ degrees). Does that sound right given the conditions? Needless to say, I wasn't all that happy with that time.

What's the elevation where you live?

Well, as far as elevation goes, we are very low in this area. Only a few feet above sea level. The climate at that time was very hot and very humid. I know that is a big factor. I figure I should be ok when I go to the track since it has been in the low 70's with moderate humidity lately. As far as planned mods, for now I am doing 4:10 gears and an o/r h-pipe to start. I know the gears will make a big difference in my times. I am toying around with the idea of adding a bottle later on next year. I just want to get comfortable with the car first. This is the first automatic I have had in 10 years.
