I have a 89 5.0 and we are redoing the exhaust. Will an x pipe that was on a 95 fit on my car?
Thanks

Yes and no. Yes if you can fabricate, no if you expect it to be a straight bolt on installation.

Ok thanks. And what long tube headers would you recommend? I was looking at a set of bbk. The car is an automatic.

It should fit. I am not aware of any difference and have swapped them between our Foxes and SN95.

I believe if you look up part numbers, especially for MAC or BBK, they will be the same part for Fox or SN95.

The hangers are different. 95 has the hangers that come straight out where the foxes have more like a 90* bend. Some fit some dont. I have a fox pipe on my 95 but i tried to put long tubes on it and they wouldnt fit because the clutch fork is in a different location!

I have bbk long tubes as well. Great set of headers, seals up nice. But I don't think they fit automatic... check their site.. most Lt headers fit t-5 only

Yeah, MAC makes 2 sets for each, auto and manual.
They have a 1 5/8" set for each tranny, and a 1 3/4" set for each.
