do strokers count? some use the stock block...

TMC (Troy) he ran 11.6 @ 118 NA on stock shortblock... I doubt if you will find many to beat that.. I didn't even come close to that with my stroker...

i have a basically stock 96 with 4.10s it has pulleys and a timing adjuster.

i also have a 95 with ported stock heads, trick flow street heat intake, pulleys, equal lenght shortys, and catback. i don't know what gears it has. the guy i bought it from said it was 3.73s but i'm not convinced.

i just got the 95 from the shop today after the headswap.

the 96 feels much faster than the 95. i really thought the 95 would be much faster, but right now it doesn't seem to be.

well not to bring up another debate but.... I am not much of a believer in thumper heads... I have seen the dyno graphs from them and i just don't think its fair to judge that car because basicaly you still have stock heads, maybe not as restrictive but none the least they don't flow/perform anything like a set of TFS or AFR's.

Oh one more question.. Im not sure how many people are on here that would apply but what about the 94's with the 351's from the factory... do they count?
Or how about the 5.4 guys?

TFS heads and a monster cam, revving it to 6600 with a 4.30.

according to his mods, since he doesn't say anything about the cam, i guess that means he has the stock cam still.

I think you missed this.
"Erson 226/234 - .568/.568 – 110 lsa cam"

I wouldn't call that a crazy cam, but it certainly has a nice lope. The duration isn't crazy or anything.

Well, the 96-98 can run 11 easy. And there are many guys doing it, take some stock 99+ Heads, Port them, get some cams, all the Bolt-Ons and Headers, get some suspension work done, lose some weight, and your done. The car will make about 320-330HP and run low 12's high 11's depending on traction ect, once the 99 herads go on the 96-98 cars there is really no dif between the 99+ and 96-98, except the 96-98 will have more comp. Go to www.modulardepot.com and check out some of the NA 4.6 cars, there is some guys running 11's on STOCK heads. Just cams and bolt-ons.

I want to say that if it has happened thats great and my hats off.I did not put out the because maybe he's able to get that less than 2700 lb car to go that fast,I'm assuming that it weighs less than that!!

There is a guy around here by the name of rodney that has a 03'mach that weighs in at a tune of 2900lbs.This guy is an awesome driver with a ton of seat time with his car and pulls 1.50 shorts with it.I have seen this car dyno and has put 313rwh/329rwt.The best time to date is 11.98@113 so thats why I say if this guys car isn't under 2700 with him in it than he's hard pressed to go 118@11.6 n/a with a 1.57 60' and not to mention that rodney's car has 430's a ton of suspention and will rev all the way to 7000.
