Hi, after 8 years and 6 cars, I was able to buy an 86 GT vert. I have been actively looking for 4 years and found this one in Wilmington, DE. It was an engineer's wife's car, bought for 25th wedding anniversary, bought an Audi s4 for upcoming 50th, had to get rid of the Mustang. What do you think? Also, the paint on the hood is baked and the car had a repaint 12 years ago. What was the originial hood graphic on a black 86?

Has anyone been able to find 86 interior door panels? I looked at the major places I know of, but they all start at 87. And has anyone replaced the exterior and interior window moulding that goes at the base of the window/top of the door skin?

Are convertible interior door panels any diff than hatch or trunk cars? Anyone have an answer to the proper graphic for a black car on the hood and trunk on drivers side?
