Flowmaster guys..1 or 2 Chamber???

Guys..98 GT(AOD)..i have 1 chambers on right now..I also have my BBK Offroad H due to arrive on thursday from Jegs..Ive done some talking to people and here that 2 Chambers and BBK off road..will give you that amazing sound that people love..and with 1 chambers it'll just be loud..is this true?

Whats the diff. between 1 and 2 chamber? And why are 2 chambers so popular?

One chambers are basically a race muffler... one of the loudest you can find.

Two chambers are loud, but depending on the series of them can be very loud or very quiet for everyday highway driving, etc.

You'll very very happy with the one chambers, albeit you may be deaf soon, you'll like it.

Both sound great. I have 2 chambers and its a deep great sound. One chamber flows are deep and DEFFENING. Be ready to blow people windows out with an offroad H pipe.

what is it with everyone saying that 1 chamber flows are loud and obnoxious and they drone like crazy... one of my friends has a mach1 with just 1 chamber flows and its barely louder than my 2 chambers... its just a different sound... and there is ZERO drone...my 2 chambers drone... his 1 chambers dont drone at all... next example one fo my friends in his 02GT with 1 chambers... NO DRONE... sounds badass...like i said just a different sound.. had i not listened to everyone on the forums saying its the worst drone ive ever heard i woulda wen with 1 chambers... they sound badass and not louder than 2 chambers ... 1 chambers are actually quiter inside... this is from first hand experience too.. i ride in these cars almost everyday

Never heard the 1 chamber. Had the 2 chamber's welded in, sounded good, but got the Bassani catback later. It is going to be loud as hell with your setup. A good loud though.

I prefer the sound of the 2 chambers its a bit deeper to me.

I think the one chamber mufflers would be too loud with flows...

one chambers are flows. ive had two chambers and 1 chambers with the stock h. the 1s were loud around town and quiet on the freeway. ive got a catted x from mustangtuning on now. its a hell of a lot louder. it drones like hell above 2500. it is a bit louder inside. i had a friend drive normal and could hear it for a good half mile away. on the freeway it does not drone at 70-75 but around 80 it does. ive had it about a month and like it,most people that hear it like it too. sounds like a damn racecar. id try the offroad h see how you like it and then decide if you want to change it. alot of f******s over at mustangexhaust talk shyt about 1 chambers and flows with x's,but i like it.

I had the 1-chambers with a MAC o/r H-pipe. Lets just say it was on the car for maybe 12 hours. There was no tone to it, just loud and nasty sounding. I used to run 1-chambers on my Chvey 1500 and sounded good. But on the mustang I did not like it. You can run 1-chamber with the stock midpipe, but I do not recommend them with a o/r pipe. Everybody has their own opinion. I have MAC Flowpaths now and they are deeper and alittle louder then the 2-chamber flowmasters.
