Any hope of ever seeing another 351 Cleveland engine built is crushed forever.

The 351C breathed great, but the same qualities that made great breathing made it a smog hog. Ford never could get the engine to run within the smog limits set by the various government agencies.

The Aussies had no such restrictions, and the 351C remained popular down under. If you dig through the Internet maze, you may find Aussie made 351C aftermarket aluminum heads currently in production.
