Ok guys, I've got it all done. Its not the the X2C motorsports kit( i wish), but i can notice a big difference. Here's the story, I bought some parts off of my buddy who was switching to a carb setup. I got a 93' cobra intake w/70mm bbk tb, 24# inj., 76mm c&l maf w/flow tube, and an e cam. the cam is for tax time and a dss 306. Anyway....it's all on there now, but it's idle quality is poor. I can't seem to fix it. I replaced the TPS and set it. I had to use the oem IAC. I don't have an adjustable fpr. could that be the problem?
I know the computer would adjust the bandwidth of the injectors automatically to compensate for the rich (24# inj) condition. It doesn't "hunt" for an idle, it's just rough, almost like its missing, but i just put new platnum autolites in there. When i took the distributor out i made sure to mark the bottom and rotor button, and it went back the exact way it came out. I don't own a timing light though. DON'T LAUGH!! I truly do not think the timing is an issue. If I hook up the pcv valve and brake booster hoses the way they were on the oem intake, it doesn't idle right, but i can unhook the booster and it idles steady at around 1200-1300 rpm. PLEASE any info is helpful at this point. I drive it everyday normally. I can drive it, but it sounds like crap idling that high. The check engine light was on, but since i replaced the Tps it hasn't come on again. please help!!!!!!!!!

Make sure the IAC is on the right way. One direction (the wrong difection) will cause it to idle real high. Make sure all the connections are properly connected. Check for vaccum leaks and please for the love of God get a timing light. You'll need it in the future. Check the timing to be sure.

1st things 1st. GET A TIMING LIGHT!!!

OK our computer in the 94/95 do not like the E cam very much. What is you current Fuel pressure? I would ditch the plugs and run the good old motorcraft ones. I treally sould like you have a vacum leaks/problem.
Hook up the lines the way they should and take some brake/carb cleaner, and with the car running spray around the lower intake/heads matting surface. If the idle changes you have a gasket leak. do the same for the upper to lower and the TB to intake...But once again GET A TIMING LIGHT.

Start with 10degrees base timing with the Spout connector. and 38 psi of fuel pressure. Use this as you base line.
Hoped it help ya some, John
