I noticed last week that the price of the Ford Racing King Cobra Clutch has gone up to $300 at most of the major parts places. So I searched around and found one for $220 shipped from Mustangs unlimited. It arrived today, and came as a Valeo Clutch. Is this correct? The part number is 62672004. I would really appreciate it if someone can confirm that I got the right one.

Also, if you need one grab it now. It seems like a lot of the FR stuff is getting more epxensive!

Sure is a Valeo. The one thing about clutches is that no one seems to really make their own base line models. The King Cobra is simply a Valeo. Zoom and Fidanza base lines are identical clutches made in China. It is all about sending spec sheets off to manufacturers to have them made. The stock clutch was probably made by Valeo as well. They do a lot of Ford work.

Thanks a lot for the information! I was a bit surprised since most of hte other FR parts that are outsourced get repacked in an FR box. I just wanted to confirm that I got the right part.

Thanks again, whitecobra95
