hey fellas,

granted this isn't a classic mustang, but i figured with all of your knowledge i could post this here: :)

My dad's got a 47 international KB-1 at home that we're thinking about rodding out.

We're looking for a modern frame for it, about the size of a 80's ranger.

the only thing i can remember off hand is that its 111" long, i can't remember the width at the time.

anybody know of some other trucks/suv's that have about the same frame??

thanks fellas

the ranger is probibly a good choice, but you really need to do some measuring of the cab and radiator shell mounts, and take these to the boneyard. i think the radiator shell is going to be the one that determines the fit, unless you cut the new frame just in front of the front axle mounts.

why bother doing a frame swap? unless the stock frame is severely damaged or rusted out, just box the stock rails, and swap a mustang ll front suspension up front, and a 67-72 chevy truck style suspension in the rear.
