Reading through everything and seeing what you've checked and the direction you've gone, I can't help but wonder if it's something a little more mechanical. I know you said you just changed the fuel pump -- and I know you had some trouble with it, I wonder if maybe one of the lines was pinched and caused problems or something of the sort?
Going throuhg all these tests seem to be leading in circles, and that usually indicated being on the wrong path to me. I might want to start all over and recheck everything starting with what you've changed, start changing back the easy things -- like maybe swapping the MAM back to stock, see if it acts different, etc.
With everything connected, the fuel pump would not prime when I turn the key to On.
With the TPS plug disconnected, the fuel pump WILL prime. I put in a replacement, set it, and it started but died out in a second. It idled fine w/o the CE light coming on, but simply died out.
So now since I found what the problem was (after too long of searching), and going to get a brand new one to put on, what else should I check in regards to making it run?
The injectors are getting a pulse, the injector harness ground is grounded. I took the upper intake off completely to be able to work down in that area to find it, and finally did. Now I know where it is.
Suggestions? I hate to say I think we're finally getting somewhere but I think we are.
Adam - I was close to yanking the fuel pump again, thank God I found this before doing so. (especially since I added some gas!)
Are you sure you didn't maybe pinch a fuel line that goes across the top of the tank? Maybe the fuel pump is able to fill the line with gas all the way up to the engine, but once the engine is running it drains out the line before it can fill up because it's pinched. Just trying to think of something....
The TPS and EEC were shot. Put in a donor EEC and it idled, although awfully. So tip #1 mine was dead.
Luckily my dad had ordered a replacement for mine thru a shop and had it delivered, so I went and picked it up (even though i had already ordered ANOTHER thru the 'net, lol...ebay time) , put it in, and BAM! It works! Of course a new TPS helped too, but damn it, it is done.
I was NOT expecting to get it finished at all, but thanks to you guys, we got 'er goin'!

Glad you got it all resolved -- wish I could have helped more. Nowhere in my train of thought would I have come up with the computer and TPS -- almost makes me wonder if it was some type of power surge or something that took them out...certainly first one i've seen like that!

I put the new computer in, new TPS, and it started running perfectly last night. Yay! Started it a couple times, pulled no codes, sweet! Let it sit overnight and I rested.
I came out this morning, cranked it, and it dies. It won't run at all now. I touched nothing in the meantime!
First it starts and dies immediately. Then if I start the car again, it will rev itself up to the redline. The 2nd time that happened, it buried my tach.
Fuel pressure is constant, if that matters.
Any ideas?

Sound like maybe you dist/PIP is bad. fuel pump still prime ok?Maybe your TPS is still giving you fits... check the voltages again? Last but not least disconnect your IAC & adjust the throttle plate so it will idle without the IAC. It'll keep it off red line till you have it figured out.

We got the redline situation figured out. Dunno what the hell was causing that
Now, though, it just starts and dies. We can get it to idle for a while but we have to keep kicking the throttle up. It will not stay running at the same idle speed, no matter how high or low. As long as we keep it moving up and down, it will contibue running.
