Going to the track - some pics

Yeah Ive been in 1.5 60' cars and even some cars that have been 1.4s, but imagine on the two step 7000 RPM, side stepping the clutch, hanging the front a couple feet in the air only to have it come down to a 1.35 60' and have to bang gears down the track... makes me wonder why anyone drives an auto!

Cant wait to get behind the wheel of that car!

I need to hang out with your friends... crap. I can't wait to get behind the wheel of mine after H/C/I... I've put maybe 200 miles on mine in 2 months :nonono:

Too much work to do and I'm lazy :rlaugh:

If you heard the combo youd cry too, very basic for the times it runs...

308 with stock block, crank, rods, TFS IRON heads (from waay back in the day), big cam, Intake, carb, Tremec, and a 175 shot. Car hangs the tires, goes mid 1.3 60's and low low 10s all day long. 10.70 car off the jug as well!

beatiful notch man, if i ever sell the mystic i'd love to get a red notch

dont take this the wrong way, but your car would look even better if you polished it up and got the color a little brighter (pm me if you want instructions)

yea so we get to the track (lotsss of people there last night as it was muffled and unmuffled cars) we are waiting in line to run and they are calling lanes... we had lane 7.. So while we are waiting we make our way to the burnout box and watch some of the cars run when out of NO WHERE it DOWN POURS and lightning and thunder come out of nowhere..:fuss: Ive never seen people run so fast. everyone's hoods were open and windows (mine included). there were 2 cobra kit cars running too, they had no tops. Now im out at englishtown with all my friends in the pouring rain, 30 miles from home with slicks on the car .. that was an interesting ride home.. i took soem pics of my buddys cars afterwards, we ran to Fridays after that we were all so bummed...
