Going to the track this weekend!!!

Rollmaster? Yeah, bitch to get on for sure. Mine had a little slack in it when I put it on though. And it has a little slack right now.

My buddy who ran an 11.77@119 with his stock shortblock is pushing me to get a wilder cam and an RPM upper.

Shifting yours at 6300, eh Joe? Mine might pull 1-2 up there, but 2-3 runs out of steam at 5800 and 3-4 at 5600 or so. Yours is retarded 4* right?

Ed told me to leave mine straight up, but we'll see what he says about a new cam....

It's been almost a year since I've driven it, so I don't remember too much.

I think it liked 6300-6400 on the 1-2 and somewhere around 6000 on the 2-3. I don't think I ever ran it WOT into 4th.

Na, mine isn't retarded. It's in per Ed's recommendations - 110 ICL.

I don't remember the powerband for the cam....I'll have to do some digging.

Another idea: If the seats are banged up, get a REALLY GOOD valve job done to the heads. There is TONS of power to be picked up in a good valve job. I don't know how much it costs though...:D

Really? On AFRs??? I should prolly do the intake side then too eh? I'd like the heads to still work well with the cam that I have. Don't know if a valve job would screw with that???

I'm bring the heads in tomorrow, so I'll bs with the guy and see what he can do. I'm thinking about getting them milled to 54cc. Bump up the compression a little.

I can't imagine that it (valve job) would screw anything up....

Remember, when you mill the heads, you're bringing the valves closed to the deck and pistons. If another accident were to happen, you'd have less of a chance of checking out OK.
