Has anyone used Gorilla Nuts on their 2011?

A few months back a friend of mine got his wheels stolen off his 2010 Camaro. His insurance paid to get new wheels and tires but he was out the $1000 deductible. Anyway, the dealer that did the work recommended he use Gorilla Nuts to help deter any other would-be thieves.

Gorilla Automotive Products - Lug Nuts, Wheel Locks, Auto Security, Wheel Accessories

Does anyone have any experience with these locking lug nuts? I'm thinking about installing them on my 2011 GT.

I could be wrong, but I got the Saleen locking lugs for my 06 GT and I'm pretty sure they were made by Gorilla. I haven't had any problems with mine at all, they work great.

Even with Gorilla lugs, if they want your wheels bad enough, they will find a way to steel them. Still, for the small investment, I think I paid around $30 to $40, it may help a little. But I've lost the lock at least twice and gone to Discount tire and bought new ones, on the spot, for less than $10.

I have no doubt that even with wheel locks the wheels can be stolen. I just want wheels on other people's cars to be easier to take than mine.

Wheel locks coupled with Ford's active anti-theft system should be enough to make the wheels less attractive.
