Well this time I took my car to hp performance in orange park florida great place. He helped me out and since my maf wasnt reading at all he put the sensor off of a fox body on my pro-m 77 housing. Well he dynoed tuned it with that and now i put down 274 rwhp and 310 rwtq. Ill see if i can scan the dyno sheet later but im really excited because ive been driving on that broken maf for around 2 years now. Oh yeah its just a 95 cobra with an e303 cam with bbk shorties and o/r h pipe and flowmasters with turn downs.

wow. nice numbers for just a cam and exhaust. my car runs strong but feels like it should have a little more. i have read MAF issues can make a big difference in a negative way. ive never cleaned mine ( afraid i will screw it up ).

I bought a $5 can of MAF cleaner at an auto parts store (Advanced Auto) and all you do is spray it on the wires, let it dry and put it back in. Very simple. You will need a T-20 Torx Bit to get the Mass air meter out.

This is very nice to hear since I am doing a rebuild and adding a cam and some headers on my 95 cobra. I have a tweecer r/t, flowmasters, o/r x pipe and gears already on the car. Hopefully my results will be comparable.

Good numbers! I just got 265rwhp and 306 torque with a Crane 2031 cam. This was after the car was nice and hot after 11 runs on a fairly conservative dyno from what the tuner said.

I went the extra mile and soaked a q-tip in maf cleaner and gently wiped the wires of the maf sensor. Mine had a black build up on each wire, and when I just sprayed it, it did not remove it... Night and day difference once the wires were clean.
