If you like power and you do not want a car that bucks and kicks then you have to go with a power adder. No way around it. I was just stating that.

Where did wmorris132 say that he ever wanted 400+ or 500 + HP?

The car looks great just as it is, there is no need to change anything. I dont know where this conception comes from that every modded Mustang has to put down crazy amounts of street power to be considered "good enough" the OP never stated once about how to get more power, wanting more power yet some think he needs to do this and do that and get more power out of it.

Everyone's car is different and everyone has different goals. Not everyone wants boost, quite a few are happy with a well built strong running and driving N/A engine which is what this is.

Sorry for the rant it just gets under my skin when someone posts numbers and the replies they get are...Good numbers..but you need to do this.......

Probably why I don't check out this section as much as I used to. To many "ebuilders" where criticizing/ruining good street motors. This isn't directed to any one person here just in general it seems street motors (331+) making anything less then 450hp/tq is some how a failure .

I agree 100%, I also dont have any problems w/ Mustangs making tons of HP N/A or boosted. Its just not necessary when its not what someone is looking for but what they are told they "Should" do. Last time I checked no one us using anyone else's money to build their cars.

There is no excuse for a 331/347 to make any less than 350rwhp with aftermarket parts.

Money is an excuse.
Pretty good numbers for a pretty basic tfs kit though.

If you do not have money then trying to make a car fast is a waste of time. If you aren't worried about going fast put some iron GT40 heads on and the stock intake.

Is this really that hard of a concept for you? Let me break it down a little easier. He DID have the money to make his car fast just not as fast as what you seem to think is acceptable. Just because he can't dump endless money into his car doesn't mean he shouldn't have modded it in the first place. He may not have bought the best stuff, but he bought what he wanted, it made ok power, and he is happy. Stop worrying yourself over his car.

Here's a cookie stopsign. Now smile.

What are you talking about "endless amount of money"????????? I'm saying for the SAME amount of money he spent he could have had more power. If no one tells anyone these things we will all have slow cars. I'm throwing out there better options. If he wants to look into it then cool, I helped him out. If he doesn't and is happy with his car now then thats cool too. You seem butt hurt that I'm giving this guy better advice. I'm always, let me say that again...ALWAYS open to someone that knows what they are doing to tell me "Hey man you could do this and this and your car would be a bit quicker". Its a friendly suggestion, now :Zip2:

Actually you specifically suggested he switch his intake, throttle body, and cam. Last time I checked doing that was not free.

Look I am not trying to start a battle here with you, but read the original post. The guy is happy with his tuner and the way things turned out. He never mentioned the numbers being low or being interested in making more power. If he is looking to make more power then more power to you to show him the easiest way to do so. However it is also possible that he is completely satisfied with his car and couldn't afford to change it if he wanted to. In that case the last thing he needs fresh off getting the car done is someone telling him how crappy his combo is and how it should be changed.

Now :grouphug:

Your car is not slow. It is putting out 400+HP. The factory engine was 220HP. Thats a pretty big improvement. Even by today's standards, a 400+HP vehicle rocks.

well its a half breed. 94 Cobra w/ the 95 R engine. Its been a blessing and a curse at the sametime but after having a taste of the 351W the 302's are now dead to me

Adam, that 306 with the 3.90 gears was really perfect the way it sat. It put out over 290 rw with cats and that was plenty killer for the vert. I don't know why I got so caught up in more more more..It might have been a friend who made a comment about "you should have "more." Honestly, I should have left the car alone.
