Guages don't fit in Speed of Sound Pillar?! *pics*

Just to follow up on this guys, Speed of Sound called me today and this is a defect in their product and they are sending out all new products. Sucks that they called me TODAY...seeing that I freakin' installed the guages today! He called me no more than 15 minutes after I forced the damn things in. :(

At least they have integrity and called you to send out a replacement. Not many companies have that kinda balls nowadays.

Agreed! I'm very happy that he called himself out on his mistake and is going to send another. No questions asked!

And I'm sorry I'm Italian! :bang:

Wow, that setup is going to be pretty. How much did the whole setup cost you? Do they offer color options to match all of the interiors?

Italian here, by the way :D Just as hairy, and now completely sunburnt after the canoe trip I just came back from.

yup Alan called me as well yesterday.
They go in easier if you leave the pillar out in the sun for an hour or so.

Hell yes! Def. getting those when the blower goes in. How much for the pillar and gauges all together if you don't mind me asking?

Also, gotta love Family Guy on the screen :rlaugh:

Pillar: $120
Oil Guage (electric): $200
Boost guage (mechanical): $70
Total: $390ish

I LOVE the speed of sound pillar. LOVE IT! :nice:

And yes, family guy is awesome LOL! :hail2:

Hell yea they do. The placement of the guages is PERFECT. I also LOVE the color of the guages. The bottom one looks to have too much red in it because of the angle of the guage. It's not pressed in fully because I'm waiting for my new pillar to come in. The top pod will get DESTROYED in order for me to get teh guage out. I'll probably dremel out the back and pop it out. What a PITA though!
