how far in is the coat hanger supposed to go? i did it, but nothing really came out, just some black gunk looking stuff on the end of the coat hanger... any way to really suck this stuff out? and what am i hurting if i go in too far?

its nothing but a ruber hose so be carefull with that hanger. and i dont know if there is a way to suck it out and i know this next comment might make some people say WTF but here it goes.. charge up the good ol air compressor put on a air blowing nozzle and try to blow it out the other way. might cause a big mess in the ducting or air box but it might solve your problems.

is there a way to get that airbox out without dropping the dash down?

nope...air box has to come out. try to compressed air trick. it might work for while until that stuff gets back down into the drain. but more than likely it will be fine.

you can but there its gonna be just as big a pain in the ass as taking the dash off. there is like 3 million screws. but i wouldnt recomend trying that. hell try stickinh a good shop vac around the hole in the firewall. doubt it will work but try the simple stuff first.
