My multipurpose switch (headlights, directionals, etc) went bad. I know this is not too tough to replace, but my steering column also makes a clicking sound when I wiggle it back and forth. I was told it could be the lower shaft ($300) or a shorter upper shaft ($60).
My thoughts are just to go to the junkyard and grab a whole steering column ($125) and kill two birds with one stone (plus I might get an ignition switch that doesn't start the car without a key, lol). Am I headed for a headache??? Any words of advice would be appreciated....
