Help me decide!!!!

I need help in deciding gears. Right now I have a Procharger D1-SC with 9psi pulley. My question is should I get 3.73s or 4.10s for a motor that will be forged next summer with 8.5 to 1 compression and 12-14 pounds of boost.

Are you going to be using it for a lot of highway driving or mainly street/strip? I'd go 3.73 if you're doing more highway driving and 4.10 if it's mainly street and strip. I have a 98 Cobra that I had 3.73 gears in and they were too steep for my liking on the highway. With higher boost it may be harder to get traction 1st and 2nd with a lower gear ratio, but it'd be a lot of fun!

that is one of those hum 3:90's? I like my 4:10's, but you have the 4:30's, so you understand the highway rpms. Why not stick with the 4:30's? I go 4:56, if I had a 6 speed. hopefully someone with some boost will answer. not too much on the boards these days though. good luck
