20+ Year Stangneter

I'd go with the Fel-Pro just because that's all I've ever used over the last 50 years.

Darn it. I went with mahle again. Iv used em twice now, only pushed one out hahaI'd go with the Fel-Pro just because that's all I've ever used over the last 50 years.

I would agree with you, but the rear main seal was not leaking when i changed it, so i dont believe i have blow-by, and if i do, i dont think its enoughMy suspicion is that maybe you're getting a lot of blow-by.
The crank case pressure is exceeding the ability of the seal.
s and grins, I'm going to leave this idea here:
yea, i cant find any carb compliant parts at all, what iv done is swap from a n/a motor to a turbo motor, and on top of that, no carb compliant partsI could see a SMOG station person flagging the BOV, Catch Can and maybe the exhaust just because those are pretty readily visable. I know my SMOG guy had a flashlight out looking down at the headers asking me about them (they are CARB legal), but they poked around more than i was expecting.

got it! so... to get me one of those golden tickets, ill need to go borrow some pipe from AutoZone and make a "smog kit"You just keep pluggin' away. Nice work, brother! If I may make a suggestion. Unfortunately, BAR will fail the car for the intercooler. The way around that is to disconnect the current I/C piping. Run 2 silicone 45's off the turbo outlet and throttle body then connect 1 straight piece of tubing between the 45's.
Here's my car with the street setup........

Here it is with the BAR friendly setup..........

I had to go around because of my rotated upper intake. You can just do a straight shot over the valve cover. That will also eliminate your BOV (another fail). Do something about the catch can and make sure you have the correct cat in your exhaust stream. Make sure your timing is where it's supposed to be and don't worry about the cam. Don't worry about oversized exhaust either because, this is one scenario where size DOESN'T matter!
Your objective is to attain one of these..................the golden ticket! Good luck!

American canyon is right up hwy 29! Youd think its vallejo if you didnt see any signs, but as soon as your in American canyon, your out, and in napa already. And yea! My dads been taking me to wensday night drags for a while, and now iv been racing on my own. Its a fun track, i just wish there wasent as much corperate backlash tward the event. Its one of those "we either lose or barely break even" eventsSonoma Raceway is awesome. Been there many times (Infineon Raceway) to watch Top Fuel Drags.
Born in Oakland, raised in Richmond. Brother went to Vallejo High. My grandpa lived out in Castro Valley... thats near American Canyon?
Glad to see you're out enjoying the car though.
