250,000 miles (original engine, tranny)
Minor body work (small dent on rear driver wheel well)
Car runs and sounds great, a little dirty

What you guys think this would be worth?
$4000 out of the question?

$4 Grand seems quite low even for the mileage. A picture would really help, as "a little dirty" and "minor body work" is very hard to judge without seeing it. How's the seats?

I think Lawrence split. Even with that mileage 4K is a steal as long as the car is complete and in decent shape. I could get more for it by parting out the Saleen parts alone. Hmmm, if I didn't already have an 89 basketcase this would be an awesome crate and tranni motor track car. If you find the right guy and it's clean you should be able to get at least 6K for it especially if the Flofit interior is complete with headrests and door panels.

I have not split, but I am happy to hear your guys responses. The body is fine intact, and the seats have had seat covers for about 4 years, so they are in nearly perfect shape, as are the door panels. I am on the Central Coast if anyone is interested. And decent shape? Man, I would drive my Dad's 98 M3 and think the Saleen could take it any day, the car pulls like a beast!

I don't, yet. I will run out and take some more of the inside of the care when I get home from work. The seats have seat covers, and I do remember that the driver side seat did have a bit of wear, before the seat covers, from entering and exiting the car. The passenger side chair is in great shape though.
