I'm going to have to go with GT's are the best FOLLOWED by Notches, i would really like to own a notch one day though. Maybe after i buy the Corvette.
First day on the site and i finally find some guys as crazy about notch backs as i am.... i just recently bought me and 1989 lx... thats had a 347 stroker put into it i dont have any pictures at the moment but im sure you guys would like it...the paint jobs a little on the bad side..in fact the paint sucks...the guys that had it befor me took it and had a cheap paint job put on it problly paid like 500 bucks for one coat of orange to be put on it..
ive only drove it from the guys house i bought it from to my house...needs clutch....dont exactly know what clutch yet but...im lookin a zoom clutch made out of kevlar...?? any opions on that would be appreciated.....since iv bought mine my elder brother has bought him a 89 lx with a V6 in it....we wanna put a 302 in it...but we are so lost...and im not good with the internet it took me like 45 mins to get this far...so if you guys know of any websites...or aanything that can help us get started on this project i would really appreciate it...

welcome to SN, any other specs on the engine in your notch?? And this is a great site for help with your bro's swap, not info from me persay, but there are some VERY intelligent guys on here!
thank you for your welcome...as for the specs.. on my mustang... as for now all i can tell you in the name brand of stuff it has...its fuel injected size of injectors i dont know how to tell what size they are...? i know it has msd 6al with rpm modual....eddelbroke performer intake...eddlebrock heads...(mabye performers too???)...4.11 gears a t-5 saleen tranny....with a busted centerforce dual friction clutch....cam?? im not sure....headers i dont know name of them....flowmasters.... arp head bolts...i forgot the name of the suspension....something with an L.... and supposidly a 4-link rear with upgraded wishbones? (i dont know what all the stuff's called....SORRY!!)...im young and still wet behind the ears...it did have nos but... it was removed prior to me buying the car...i was told it was set up for wide open throttle....all the retards switch's are still on the car and working...ima take the camera today and take some pictures of her...shes a lil shabby but she's still the sweetest thing ive ever seen...... ltr...
I love my notch too. It has come a long way......Beat up sitting in my junk yard for 5 months. 4cyl to v-8 swap...auto to T-5...fix the front end collision....torn to a bare shell...body work and paint...5 lug conversion....rebuilt trans...completely original beautiful grey cloth interior.....
Motor, trans,5 lug, and paint done myself......body work was left up to my Dad who is the best there is....car is beautiful....not selling for a LONG LONG TIME!!!
