I am a mere click away from ordering an O/R mid-pipe. However, I'm just not 100% sure on which one to purchase.

UPR O/R X -or- MAC O/R H

I've heard a few comments stating that an O/R X sounds like ass paired with Flowmasters. Agree? Disagree?

Manifolds: stock
catback: flowmaster super 40's

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you have Flowmasters, definitely go with H pipe. IMO, an off road X with Flowmasters sounds too raspy, it kind of "racks off". An off road H is way deeper sounding.
It's all subjective though, because people have different tastes.

Dude, do a MAC O/R Pro-Chamber. I have the exact same catback as you do. I get compliments on the sound almost every day. I even got a compliment from an old muscle car guy yesterday. I promise if you do the O/R Pro-Chamber you will not regret it.

I'd love to but I just can't afford it. The small difference in sound doesn't make up for the big difference in price
