Injector Size

I would at least run 30's, I was running stock bottom end with 165 afr's and everything else in my sig and it ran perfect. Right now I am still N/A for a couple more days and I have the 42's and just took away fuel with the pms for starting and my car runs fine. I actually had to add fuel in the wot table to get my a/f ratio right before the blower.

If interested, I actually have the set of 30's and a c/l mass air meter that I just took off my car this week so I could install my 42's and the pro m blow thru meter. They have about 5k on them and I have the sample tubes for 19, 24, and 30lb injectors for the meter, just if your interested.

Any recommendations on a cam there GREEN. I just don't want to upgrade the AFR Springs at this point plus I have an AUTO AOD so i'm a little weary about driveability. Thanks bud

I would do a custom cam and a valve spring package. Yes it costs more, but it'll be easier than swapping springs later on.

What gears do you have and what converter?

I have a fuel injector selection calculator, on my website Here.
You will need to have Excel installed on your computer, and it is hp (flywheel) based, so you will need to have an estimate of how much power you will be making. This calculator will also demonstrate the affects of fuel pressure. Let me know if this works for you. Good or bad, I will enjoy the feedback.

While I don't need to buy the meter or tubes, I would be very interested in getting the color codes and diameters of each sample tube from you. I am trying to amass a collection of sample tube colors that is correlated to their respective diameters. This would be pretty helpful to the general Mustang enthusiast, as the color coding is easily removed with assorted solvents/fuels.

Thanks, and happy Stangin'

Happiness is based on the driver, not opinion.

Get 30's, those will work well for you!

Custom cam would be better, but you'll have some good power to have fun with...

Good Luck!

Building a 331 with AFR 185's. Should I use 24 or 30 lb injectors. Will be a nitrous car but it's a wet kit. Thanks for any input. Also will probly run a TFS 1 cam, which rockers ??? 1.7 or 1.6 Thanks Fellas
hi i have almost the same cuestion but i have a 306 with afr 185's, RPM intake, 70 TB, 1 3/4 LT's, comp cams XE274HR, what happen if i use 30pounds with 75mm maff?

I have 30lb injectors with a 75mm TB with a more streetable combo than you and have no problems beside to much cranking fuel when warm...and a rich smell and overall richness...

Just got a chance to check back on this, I am in Nottoway, Va. about 45mins SE of richmond. You can e-mail me at [email protected]. On the sample tubes, vristang, I'll see what I can do this weekend on that info for you, it's a busy weekend, but I'll get it for you. I also will have a 155lph fuel pump and maybe a 190lph for sell if you want to upgrade your fuel pump, which I would with the bigger injectors. I'll be using a 255 in tank and inline pro pump I won't need them. Hit me back and we'll see what we can work out

I have had some luck finding this info, so all I need now is the Brown and Gold diameters. If you have these tubes, great. If not I understand you are busy.

I posted the results on my site...
