http://www.mustangworks.com/analyzer.html

I entered my info and it says
Peak Horsepower: 283
Average Horsepower: 300

What I dont know is if its RWHP or FWHP.
I also took the 1/8 mile time off my slip and ran it thru the "convert your 1/8 to 1/4" calculator and it was incredibly close.

I would say it is BHP not RWHP. It says I have 317hp And all I have is a set of GT40 heads, Cobra intake and full exhaust. Wonder hoe accurate it is.

Yeah I agree But here is what I am thinking, It is useful to compare runs on the same car.

For example I took last yrs best run and the track weight here is what it said
Peak Horsepower: 274
Average Horsepower: 275

Now with the mods I did over winter I used same calculater it says
Peak Horsepower: 283
Average Horsepower: 300

So I gained 25 hp basically.

Jk - somethings wrong there, your average HP cannot be higher than your peak. Was that supposed to be 315 average?

Don't know how that could be. Look at a torque curve or HP curve - it has values on either side of the peak HP that are LESS than the peak. Since an average is the total of all points devided by the number of points, it can't happen!

What it actually says is that the peak horsepower has to due with the e.t. you put in, and that the average horsepower is due to the mph. So if you spun and got a high mph, but not a very good et, it will show up wrong.
