Well I decided to go on a shopping spree and get a whole bunch of things for the 'stang. I'm so damn happy I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight!

The parts:
- 17x9" and 17x10.5" FR500's in Anthrocite (These are the sexiest things I ever laid eyes on)
- 315/35r17's Sumitomo's for the rear
- Fancy-pants Bullet-style chrome lug nuts
- FRPP aluminum driveshaft
- BBK chrome shorty headers (went the cheap route, plans are for turbo(S) next year)
- MGW shifter
- MM LCA's and FRPP UCA's

the pics!

Installation begins first thing tomorrow morning with the wheels and tires (fingers crossed). They're calling for decent weather this weekend so my goals are to have the control arms done and maybe the driveshaft tomorrow. Sunday will be headers and shifter and oil change and miscelaneous other things.

Big thanks goes out to Aaron, I owe him a few beers. We took Aaron's Ranger to pick-up all the parts which were a 1 hour drive away, and he got himself a set of sweet SLP stainless "mufflers". I say "mufflers" because they look like straight pipe to me, haha.

-Aaron, feel free to add the pics you got from today. I know you've been waiting for this thread to come-up. I was busy in the garage, euhm... looking... at the sexy new parts....

Must be nice....I've been waiting to sell my Mazda before I start buying parts, but I may have to go ahead and get a few things.

Good luck installing everything! Also, we require more pics when you're finished.

yeah, I've only heard good things about the shifter, hopefully I'll like it. The tires I got for a pretty good price, they were $40 cheaper than the 255/45's I got last year. $169 each in canadian dollars, which is damn cheap for that much rubber. These things are huge!

What's with you boys spending all this cash on the cars? I about pooped myself when Aaron mentioned his budget for the car (even if it was Canadian paper). I'm quite envious!

Have fun with the installs Stephane.

I love spring time!

Where did you buy the tires from? That's an excellent deal...

We should compare my tri-ax to your MGW whenever we meet up this coming spring/summer...I'd be interested to feel the difference

I got all of the parts from one place. They're located in Prescott (On.), and their web site is www.2koolperformance.com. I know, I thought the same thing when I saw the name... Check-out their "specials" section, best prices on almost anything I've ever come accross in Canada. Probably the best parts buying experience I've had so far, the guy's fantastic to deal with and he got me everything within 4 days. He can ship anything through FedEx as well, so you don't have to drive 6 hours.

welcome to the FR500 club! I need to go to 17 inch rims and 10.5" deep dish rims in the back. so basically, you got exactly what i want.

where did you get yours and how much for the tires?

*edit* i just saw where you got them, how much would that be in american dollars?

Man, I'm jealous. I posted a thread a few months back asking for pics of a DFG 94-95 with anthracite FR500 wheels, and bam, you just got some. I'm still considering selling off my '00 Cobra R wheels and picking up a set anyway.

They're from AmericanMuscle, I've seen ads in magazines where you can get them for $129 in adn 17x9 and $148 for 17x10.5, plus shipping probably.

I should be getting mine installed here in a couple of hours. I'll post pics ASAP. I can't wait!!!!

lol @ Christams...

I'm uploading pics as we speak, would have posted'em last night, but I was extremely busy dealing with stupid people

Another big vote for 2kool performance....Spence, the guy that runs it, just seems to have himself sorted out. He's been in the business for quite a few years now, and he's built some great cars and trucks. He just needs a new business name Overall, I'd rate it as the best experience I've had with performance parts in Canada
