Kenne Bell "H" series Vs. "S" series ?

If I were plaing on going with a KB supercharger, and was not going to build my bottom end right away. What would be the best to go with? I plan on upgrading power as funds become available. So what would be better? Start with a "S" and if I run out of steam with the "S", upgrade to "H"? Run the "H" below optimum effiencency until I can afford to build the bottom end. Thoughts? :shrug:

Get the best so you don't have to do it all over again when you run out of power with the "S" supercharger. Although the "S" might be able to produce more than enough power for you...I have no idea.
 
besides the different outputs of the "H" and the "S" series is there a difference in the superchargers structurally? or is it just different pulleys and an intercooler? can you turn an "s" series into an "h"?
 
The only discription I saw on KB's website was the H = High Boost S = Standard. I didn't look very hard though. I know that they reccomend the H for 15+ psi of boost. Which is why I asked the question about using the H at lower effiency. Like 9 lb's.
 
You're going to want to get an intercooler for it. You'll have better piece of mind with it. Superchargers are heat manufacturers but produce quite a bit of power. Too much heat in an engine isn't a good thing and you'll actually be able to get more horsepower out of an intercooled 6psi than a non-intercooled 9 psi. Less boost = less wear and tear = less problems = less money out of your pocket down the road.
