ok, so i finally got the kb installed......it's freaking sweet.
first of all, kenne bell was missing a part for the 1.5 that i ordered so after a couple weeks they ended up just building me a 1.7 for the same price. the 1.7 isn't offered for our cars but is the same housing with bigger internals. so i got a better blower for the same cash, nice. before the install i had my car dyno'd with only bbk shorties, mac off road h, mac catback, pullies, and msd coil and wires. the car put down 255 hp and 285 torque and this was with the plugs already gapped for the kb at .035 and a little lean. i was suprised and happy with those numbers. so i get the kb, bbk 70mm throttle body, anderson power pipe, 80mm pro-m, 42#ers, mds 6a, and 255 fuel pump on and out the pullies back to stock and put down 321 hp and 350 torque with only 6#'s of boost and total timing at only 15 degrees, so needless to say, there is plenty of more power there but i'm keeping it super safe. a/f was in the 11's all the way across and just touched 12 at 5k. it was tuned on a dynojet w/ a diable chip. sorry, i don't have a copy of the graph to show or a video. as far as drivablitiy....awesome. the car acts stock except when you get on it and you know its there. heat is no problem with it for me. the 160 degree thermostat that kb gave me is in and the fan is programmed to turn on at 180 degrees and the car runs ice cold. i barely touch the N on my gauge and its been pretty hot in jersey since i got it on. i have small idle issue but i think it will be resolved shortly. long story short - kb = awesome.
