KZGUNS tuning

I agree "vagueness associated with the settings". It is the hallmark of hardware/software developers.

To the OP, use the tool tips in Tuner Studio, i.e. the little blue question marks.

Tool Tip:
Frequency to operate at. This varies with valve type. Ford/Bosch valves typically operate 50-100Hz. Miata valves are closer to 300Hz.
Be aware that above 78Hz the output becomes less precise.

Sine there is no 78, just 31, 62, 92 then 124....I've been using 124 Hz.

I've been working on cars damn near my entire 42 years of life. Buying my first car at 14 (70 Torino) fixing it up and driving it when i was 16. My bro raced fords and had many over the years and we built many engines in that time. This Fuel Injection systems and computers etc is mostly new to me. Seeing you guys talk about all the fine points of these tunes makes me feel like the guy who cant even change his own oil. Lots to learn for me but i'm eager as i like to know everything i can about my cars. You guys are a wonderful resource!! I'm glad you're willing to spread your knowledge.

Previous owner was running a WB as well I took apart the plug to confirm 21 pin he also had a tach output on 7 (edit: not tach, boost controller.) Here’s a picture of the jumpers. I think it’s correct but can someone confirm?
Thanks!

Got my spartan 2 today! Question.. are you guys wiring the power to a key on source? It says connect to a source that’s only on when engine is running. I assume I’m not going to be using the brown wire (simulated NB).
Thanks again!

Correct on both counts... I like to use a relay to feed the WB, the key power source will turn the relay on and the relay feeds the wb with battery 12v, take the ground for the wb directly to the ECU ground or the battery. Use the WB signal wire

BTW, the white circuit board is the Microsquirt Module.
Firmware updates will identify it as such.
It is not the same as the Microsquirt or the other MS2's.

I recently put a switch between 85 & ground so can turn the controller off.
Ignition on for a long time heats the WB & a cold shot of exhaust gas on startup can damage it.

Adaptive.
This has to be setup a certain way for it to work correctly.
The 5 blocks need to have numbers like I have below.
Rpm / *advance
200 / -5
50 / -1
0 / 0
-50 / 2
-200 / 5

How’s this look.
