I havent seen it yet with all of them on and the car put together. Its at the tint shop now I believe and he said when it gets back they are doing a full detail on it so she should look nice and sexy when I see her again

Well, 1/13 I bring the wheels over to the shop and we install them.
Me: Looks like the strut is bent
Body shop: Yep, looks bad. See the tabs are bent and the shaft looks crooked.
Me: That will be fixed right?
BS: Yep.
1/23 AM
BS: You will have your car back today Bill. Its on its way to the alignment shop.
Me:

BS: Ah, it turns out the strut is bent and we need to order a new one.
Me: And this wasnt ordered week before last, why?
BS: Well we had to be sure and make sure it couldnt be adjusted out. Besides, the spindle is bent too so we have to order one. Ill get the strut from Ford too.
Me: NO! Its a Steeda Sport 2000 Cobra R strut. Here is the part number and the phone number of the place to get it.

BS: Okay, thanks. I will order it now. The spindle just showed up.

I have offered before. Hes scared to drive it One day he will want to drive it, mabey after his first tour of duty is over and hes seen some action over seas he will have the nards to drive it

But I do need to drive it home because I need to make sure it drives right. I hope they put it together right. Besides he hasnt driving anything as powerful as my Mark. He only has a GT with NOS

Cant wait to see it lazer. Ive been slowly checking up on this thread every now and then to see if you got the car back. I loved those HREs on your car, they were so different and made it stand out. I think your new rims will look sick on your color, always loved sonic blue.

Im still waiting to get my car back, the body shop has had it for a week fixing the door where the thieves got in. They also had to replace the whole dash... So i got a nice little v6 fusion for a rental car, nice car and a surprisingly smooth ride, maybe im just used to the bullitt, haha. Did your insurance give you a rental car through all of this?? How long has it been out of commission now??

Yep, false alarm.
I got there and the stripe was crooked, there was overspray on the door, there was orange peel on the side skirt, they didnt paint the rear uarter where the scratch was and they lost one of my valve stem caps. The valve stem caps are custom to match my lug nuts so I dont even know if I can find them again

I have pictures but my friend hasnt sent them to me yet. I wish he would hurry the frack up so i can show the screw ups and how the new wheels look.

The scratch really pisses me off cause I told him about it three times.
The body dude tells me, as he points at it, "I couldnt buff it out" I look at him and say "Well then you have to paint it, the car isnt done" So they have to send another supplement and take care of it. He says the car will be done tomorrow and that hes sure the alignment place has the valve stem cap so we will see

They also havent tinted it cause the $135 quote I was given went up to $190
So i will take it somewhere else to tint latter.... really he should just do it for free with these damn screw ups.
I meen the damn strype was off by a half freaking inch!!

sucks to hear bro, i know how it goes though. when my oil pump blew up i was without a car for 2.5 months. it sucked. at least you got a bad ass DD with a sweet stereo to drive in the meantime.

Only two pieces I have left to get are the deck and the amp! The amp is getting all new capacitors installed. The amp was such a score! When I sold the same model new back in 95 it was $1250, I practically stole the thing and when he offered to install the new caps I was floored

Here are some shots though. The car was sitting in the was area so it was sitting in a shallow drain off so the front passenger gap and rear drivers wgeel gap isnt there on a level surface
I think when i tire dress the tires the sidewall will look better..... I hope
