1987-1993 Fox Body Mustang: 5.0 Resto Upper Hatch Trim Panel - Overview & Install

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9xFfBFhi6M

Renew the interior hatch area of your 1987-1993 Fox Body Mustang with 5.0 Resto's upper hatch trim panel. This trim panel is designed and manufactured with a factory fit and finish in mind. With the help of computer-aided design (CAD), this panel features factory dimensions and tolerances for an effortless installation. Constructed from durable plastic, all mounting screw standoffs and clip retainers are molded in the correct locations. You'll even notice the small cutouts for the defrost wiring. Attention to detail goes a long way! Factory-style grain and texture are applied to closely match the rest of your interior. This trim panel is available in black or a neutral gray. The neutral gray is close to opal gray, but there is a small difference. We recommend prepping and painting the gray panel to match your interior color. Installation hardware is included.

We've ALL been there! What to look for when buying a used engine? | Basic Checks to Consider

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hb_Rzx4Um8

If you've purchased a used engine, then you know it's always some kind of dice roll. Regardless of how well the ad is put together, there is that underlying feeling of, "man, I hope this is legit". Recently, we purchased a used gen 2 Coyote engine with low miles (30-40k) from out of state. What we thought was a good deal, turned into a not so good deal. The engine we bought had isolated damage to several components that forced us to spend more money than what we wanted to. This is a friendly reminder to perform your due dilligence when buying anything used; especially an engine!

1987-1993 Fox Body Mustang: 5.0 Resto Headlight Relay Harness - Overview & Install

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pk6BNBnpRfM

From the factory, there was a slight overload on the headlight circuit that, over time, can cause serious damage to the headlight switch connecter that plugs into the back of the headlight switch due to the large amp draw. The connector can melt, which can cause damage to the switch, dash wiring, and intermittent headlight function. Well, thanks to 5.0 Resto, you no longer have to worry about that; the headlight relay harness will prevent this issue in the future. The 5.0 Resto headlight relay harness shifts the load away from that connector into two relays, one for the low beam and one for the high beams. Reducing amp draw anywhere from 5-10 amps per circuit greatly decreasing the demand on the factory wiring. Regardless of whether you have good factory wiring, are doing a mild restoration, or are just working on making your Fox Body further updated, this harness is a fantastic option for your Mustang. We believe every single 1987-1993 Mustang needs this harness as this is how it should have been wired from the factory.

You'll need to source a nut to secure the relay to the fender support bracket.

Ford OBS Bronco & Truck: Reproduction A-pillar Trim - Overview & Install

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p430fvFdPQ

Replace your warped, cracked, or broken 1992-1996 Ford OBS Bronco and truck a-pillars with these brand new gray units from LMR. Whether you're taking on a project with missing a-pillars or need to replace your originals that are cracked in several places, these LMR a-pillars are the perfect interior restoration item. Your a-pillars take some abuse over the decades from multiple installations and removals, drilled for gauges, resulting in broken mounting points, scuffs, scrapes, cracks, and unrepairable damage. LMR identified the need for replacement a-pillar trims for your OBS truck and is proud to offer this new pair to help restore your interior!

Designed and manufactured with an OEM fit and finish in mind, these LMR a-pillar trims are the perfect solution to restore your interior. Each trim is built to the factory dimensions with durable plastic material using an injection molding process. Factory-style grain and texture are applied to closely match the rest of your interior. LMR's a-pillar trims arrive in a gray finish but can be prepped and painted to match other interior colors. Each A-pillar trim features the correct counter-sunk mounting screw locations along with the back reinforcement gussets that run the length of the pillar. Lastly, at the bottom is the plastic welded boss for the lower attaching point that is wrapped in foam to prevent rattles.
