Gen 2 Coyote P0300 & P0308 misfire codes SOLVED! Does it affect Power? Fix w/ Dyno Results

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEhVRxMBYgw

Chasing down check engine lights isn't always fun. Shoot, let's be honest, they're not fun at all! However, there are those times where we have to put on our detective cap and get to work. This competition orange 2015 Mustang GT had a P0300 and P0308 misfire codes. Quick online research for these codes on gen 2 Coyote engine resulted in the obvious: spark plugs, coil packs, or a compression issue. We checked and troubleshooted all of that with no results. Upon further inspection of the intake manifold, we noticed the driver side IMRC valve wasn't working. The intake manifold was swapped for a GT350 unit and voila, check engine light gone.

Since this opportunity doesn't come around very often, we wanted to document what we did as all as provide some dyno runs just for the data. Enjoy the video!
